FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Sacramental preparation for children who have been Baptized Catholic and are in Second Grade in a non-Catholic school.
Registration for 2025-26 is closed.

CONFIRMATION
Minimum Prerequisites for Confirmation Preparation:
1. Baptized Catholic;
2. Family must be registered with Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish;
3. Ongoing previous religious education;
4. Active participation in parish worship and sacramental life.

MARRIAGE
Couples should contact the Parish Office at 225-387-6671 at least six (6) months prior to the desired date and must complete the Marriage Preparation Program. Weddings can be booked up to one year in advance.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Visits to the hospitalized and homebound are made regularly. Please contact the Parish Office at 225-387-6671 for the Anointing of the Sick or to receive Holy Communion.
FUNERAL PLANNING
Please call the Parish Office at 225-387-6671 prior to scheduling with the funeral home.
BECOMING CATHOLIC
Becoming Catholic is a program designed to present the Catholic Faith to those considering becoming Catholic. It is also appropriate for those interested in the Faith, but not yet ready to consider conversion.
